Terms of Service

1. Service description

Oeave is a software-as-a-service platform that transforms product content (“Fibers”) into interactive, cinematic buying experiences (“Weaves”). The service includes a web application for creating content and managing projects, a renderer script for embedding experiences on third-party websites, and optional analytics for tracking shopper engagement.

2. Account registration

• You must provide a valid email address and secure password to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person or legal entity.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Oeave.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription plans & billing

Oeave offers the following plans:

• Starter: €499 per month
• Pro: €999 per month
• Growth: €1,999 per month

All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles your payment method, billing, invoicing, and sales tax. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle’s Terms of Service.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change applies to their account.

4. Free trial

• A 7-day free trial is available once per user on the Starter, Pro, and Growth plans.
• A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
• During the trial you have full access to the features of the selected plan.
• If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the trial offer at any time.

5. Refund policy

If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of your first paid charge, you may request a full refund by emailing support@oeave.com.

After the 14-day window, no refunds are issued. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refund requests are processed through Paddle. You may also contact Paddle directly for payment disputes.

6. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Oeave, including Fibers, images, 3D models, text, documents, and project metadata.

By uploading content, you grant Oeave a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the service — including rendering it on your websites and those of your authorized partners.

• You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and use the content you provide.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
• This license terminates when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable backup and caching periods.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service or renderer.
• Use the service for spam, phishing, or deceptive practices.
• Resell access to the service without written permission.
• Exceed fair-use limits on storage, bandwidth, or API calls.
• Circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

8. Renderer & embed terms

• The renderer script is provided for embedding on your own websites or sites you are explicitly authorized to use.
• If you enable shopper analytics, you are responsible for informing shoppers and obtaining their consent in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
• Oeave is not liable for how merchants use, display, or distribute rendered content on third-party websites.

9. Intellectual property

Oeave owns all rights to the platform, renderer, user interface, branding, documentation, and underlying technology. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Oeave intellectual property to you.

You own your content (see Section 6). Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit about the service become Oeave’s property and may be used without obligation to you.

10. No guarantees

We work hard to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Increased sales, revenue, or conversions.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• That the service will meet every specific requirement you may have.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bjørn Fjellstad Indahl (operating as Oeave) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from within the service.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.
• Upon termination, your content remains available for export for 30 days. After that period, it is permanently deleted.
• Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

13. Third-party services

The service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, platforms, or tools (including Paddle for payments). We are not responsible for their content, services, privacy practices, or any issues arising from their use.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email. By continuing to use the service after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the service shall first be attempted to resolve informally. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be handled by the courts of Oslo, Norway.
