How to create interactive hotspot scenes that let buyers explore products in a "choose your own adventure" format.
Hotspot scenes let you create interactive, explorable product experiences. Instead of a linear sequence, buyers see a scene (an image, a 3D model, or a video) with clickable hotspots placed on specific points of interest. Tapping a hotspot reveals detailed information, links to threads, or navigates to other scenes.

Hotspots work best when your product has distinct areas that buyers want to explore independently — like regions on a map, parts of a machine, rooms in a property, or features on a product photo.
They power the "choose your own adventure" mode described in Presentation Modes.
Hotspot scenes are built using the 3D model component in the thread builder. Add a 3D model component and upload or select a model fiber. The model viewer loads with controls for placing hotspots.
Each hotspot has:
In the live Weave, hotspots appear as small markers over the scene. When a buyer taps one:
This non-linear interaction keeps buyers engaged longer and lets them focus on what matters most to them.
